Photo Optimization
It’s amazing how much difference the smallest correction to a photograph can make. Increasing the S-curve on a photo can immediately take it from drab to stunning. If you love to take pictures but never tweak them in post-production, you’re really missing out. For those who have the skills and the patience, I would recommend investing in an application like Adobe Lightroom or Adobe Photoshop. The latter has a much steeper learning curve, so for a novice Lightroom would be my top choice. You can read my article about it here.
If you are just looking to send your own pictures off for colour correction, drop me a line to let me know how many photos you’d like to have corrected and any other pertinent details at hello@pacificrenaissance.ca
These photos were taken by the talented Leslie Ellis, for whom I’d customized a WordPress template. Leslie had at one time worked as a photo journalist, and she had some beautiful photos in her collection. I loved the composition of the photographs below and made only a few very minor adjustments to make the images pop.
