I specialize in the customization of Content Management Systems such as WordPress, Joomla and Drupal, which allow my clients to maintain their sites with little or no technical knowledge. Logo design, domain consultation and search engine optimization (SEO) is often a part of this service. I have taken clients whose sites had no visibility to the top of the Google search listings, and have in many cases exponentially increased the size of their business. I develop and design brochures, flyers, fact sheets, PowerPoint presentations, and other marketing collateral for not-for-profit organizations and both private and public companies. Sometimes I'm asked to develop written copy alone, other times I'm given full creative control and get to micromanage the whole project.

Photo Optimization
I offer photo optimization and colour correction services for both digital and print media. I've patched up blotches, corrected skin tone, erased wrinkles and summoned all the weapons in my Photoshop arsenal to get photos looking their best. Why optimize? Because drab photos make for drab collateral and the only thing worse than drab collateral is drab collateral with poor copy.

Editing & Writing Services
Writing and editing work is a key component of any professional communicator's portfolio, and I do offer these services as well. I have spent countless years deleting other people's commas and rehabilitating their run-on sentences, and have occasionally done so with the full weight of a university to back me up. My students have always loved me. Why, what have you heard?
These days I specialize in corporate and marketing communications, though I am asked to proofread magazine articles and edit academic papers from time to time.
